Meet the Founder

"Make the impossible, possible."

Naomi Newman is the founder and Executive Producer of Legacy Films 4U — bringing over 30 years of world-class production experience to the art of cinematic biography. She is also the founder of the award-winning Hocus Pocus Productions, a full service digital, film and TV production company established in 2016, after years of working for HBO, Disney, Nickelodeon and Lifetime TV.

As Senior Vice President of Production at McKinney, a national advertising agency, Naomi led a team of 8 around the world with Travelocity's Roaming Gnome, produced the most successful channel launch in ESPN's history, and convinced Matt Damon to appear in his first ever Super Bowl commercial alongside Mindy Kaling. Her work has been featured at the Super Bowl and the Olympics and has garnered numerous industry awards.

Over the years, Naomi found herself increasingly drawn to a different kind of storytelling — one centered not on brands, but on people, and on the quiet, irreplaceable moments that make up a life. That passion became Legacy Films 4U, where over 30 years of world-class production experience are devoted entirely to bringing your story to life with the thoughtfulness and care it deserves.

We begin with an informal session to explore your subject's world — their pivotal moments, relationships, passions, and the story they most want to leave behind.

Our creative team builds a narrative arc, selecting meaningful locations, identifying key voices, and curating archival photographs, video and documents that enrich the story.

The Shoot

A small, discreet crew spends one or two days in your world. Guided interviews, candid observation combine to capture authentic, unguarded moments.

The Legacy Film

Weeks of meticulous editing, cinematic colour grading, and a soundtrack drawn from the music that shaped your subject's life — songs that meant something, melodies that carry memory — to produce a finished film delivered on archival media, USB, and a private digital stream.
